After 25 years working in and with large financial firms worldwide, Jim Van Meter became an independent financial advisor in 2002. He brings over three decades of experience in corporate management and international business, tax preparation, mortgage financing, securities investments, insurance and risk management and comprehensive financial planning to Tahoe Financial Planning.
Jim earned his B.A with honors as a Phi Beta Kappa, and his MBA in Finance, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is a Certified Financial Planner™, Certified College Planning Specialist™, and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™.
